Actor Trisha Krishnan has been making headlines recently due to speculation around her personal life. The actress was spotted at a wedding event with actor-turned-politician Vijay, days after reports surfaced that his wife had filed for divorce alleging an extramarital affair with an actress. Trisha hits back at Parthiban
On Sunday, Trisha took to her social media and addressed the matter without naming Parthiban. However, the references she made in her post, made it clear that the actress was responding to Parthiban.
She wrote, “I was informed by the organisers of a recent event that my name and picture were included at the last minute at the request of an individual conveyed through his assistant. A microphone doesn’t make a comment intelligent or humorous. It just makes stupidity louder.Crude words without knowledge say more about the speaker than the person they’re aimed at.”

Parthiban takes a dig at Trisha and Vijay
In Ponniyin Selvan: II, directed by Mani Ratnam, Trisha played the role of Kundavai while Parthiban essayed the role of Chinna Pazhuvettaraiyar. At the Galatta Awards, Parthiban was asked about Trisha. When asked, “What do you think about your Kundavai?” he immediately quipped, “This Kundavai should be kept at home for a few days. That’s good. Don’t let her come out.”
The video quickly went viral, with netizens discussing the remark. Many pointed out that Parthiban himself is a divorcee who ended his marriage in 2004. However, some noted that he maintains a good equation with his ex-wife, actor Seetha.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, on the occasion of International Women`s Day, Parthiban again appeared to take a dig at Vijay’s comment about his personal life. Taking to social media, he wrote, “It’s WORTH! Worth & worth! Because woman is another EARTH. We call the earth Bhuma Devi. We do not call it Sama Nathan by a man`s name. No matter who he is, he is born from a woman — even if he is Shiva, his power is a woman! Happy WOMEN’S DAY!”
