The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the CBSE class 12 exam results 2025. This year`s CBSE result has been improved by a mere 0.41 per cent, climbing up to 88.39 from last year`s 87.98 per cent. Once again, girls have outplayed boys as they achieved a pass percentage of 91.64 per cent, whereas the boys stood at 85.70 per cent. On the other hand, transgender candidates have scored a 100 per cent pass percentage against last year`s 50 per cent, which is surely something that needs to be appreciated.
Overall, this year, 88.39 per cent of candidates have cleared the exams, which is marginally up from last year`s pass percentage of 87.98 per cent. To give a more brief overview of the CBSE class 12 exam results 2025 for the academic year 2024-25, a total of 6,92,794 candidates had appeared for the class 12 board exams, out of which 1,11,544 candidates have scored above 90 per cent marks, while 24,867 candidates have scored above 95 per cent marks. However, over 1.29 lakh candidates have been placed in the compartment.
After the Class 12 results are out, the board will announce the Class 10 results today at 1:00 PM, as reported by PTI. Students can check their results on CBSE’s official websites.

How to check your results
- Open your browser and go to any of the above-mentioned links.
- Locate the results link.
- Enter your roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID in the designated fields.
- Press Submit.
Students can also check their results via SMS, Digilocker and the UMANG app. This year, over 42 lakh students appeared for the CBSE exams, which were held between February 15 and April 4.
