He wrote, “A grand pink e-rickshaw distribution ceremony was held joyfully in Pune – a city sanctified by the footsteps of the great epoch-making leader, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and considered the cultural capital of Maharashtra. During the event, I had the privilege of distributing vehicles to the beneficiaries of the pink e-rickshaw scheme – my dear sisters and motherly figures – and I wholeheartedly congratulated them while wishing them great success on their journey ahead.”
He further wrote, “It is often said, if one girl in the family is educated, the entire family learns and grows. A girl is the goddess Lakshmi of the home.”

In a special message to the women drivers, he advised that while allowing male passengers, they should take a photo of the passenger and share it with their family for safety.
He said that the state government believes it is their duty to create equal opportunities for women and bring them into the mainstream of development. The government is taking firm steps in this direction.
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Ajit Pawar also thanked all the women who supported the Mahayuti alliance during the state assembly elections held in 2024.
He reassured that the Mahayuti government is committed to standing strongly behind every woman and building a prosperous future for Maharashtra.
